That makes some sense as do some pennies. I avoided lethal gunshot unknown direct hostile attack by deflecting through parts of my hand. One on one point blank with assailant. My 2nd was a misfire self inflicted missed target due to premature slippage.<g>(gun play is dangerous) Completely unrelated to 1st. I never was cut with a knife. Just threatened. I have avoid death and injury in automobiles many times. It does help knowing how you will think in times of extreme stress. I also agree careless risk taking is foolish. Unless your a trained professional.
