Emile,

"Israel's geopolitical agenda coupled with their powerful lobby in the U.S. is serious threat to America's democracy"

Emile, if you really believe that then you haven't got a clue about us.

Your view of us is exactly what I would expect of someone who reads about the world through the distorted view of Euro-leftist literature and/or Al-Jazeera.

We have a conservative republican President for the moment. If the economy doesn't improve dramatically before the next election we will likely have a democratic President. This a country where the political pendulum swings one way then the other. We are always in a state of change and debate about our future.

If you read us carefully, you will see that both liberal democrats and conservative republicans want exactly the same thing for Israelis and the Palestinians, a negotiated settlement.

Now, is one of those unique times in history to strike a deal. At a moment when the USA is willing to pay both sides dearly to ensure a peaceful Mideast.
