Peru is getting ready to set up its own "venture exchange"
Guess they are getting tired of the Canadians getting the good projects.

"Peru is the world's third largest producer of zinc, lead and tin,
No. 2 in the world in silver, No. 5 in copper and No. 7 in gold."

"The private sector National Mining, Petroleum and Energy Society
has identified 276 mining projects still to be developed."

P.S. I'm betting Peru will beat Mexico to become #1 silver producer in 2003,
and might even move up to #5 in gold. (passing Canada and Russia)
