MARKET CALL : Based on my charts plus OPEC actions, signs point to a nearterm peak, perhaps around 1510, within 2 days. Then comes a period of testing and retesting around the 1390 area for at least two weeks, before the rally resumes.

OPEC and oil prices is the controlling factor.

And here's an oddity via a friend not in the mkt, that oddly concurs ( I usually don't follow this stuff:)

>>Mercury will be going retrograde at 8:00 AM EDT April 26, 2003 at 20 degrees 32 minutes of Taurus. It goes direct on May 20 at 3:34 AM at 11 degrees 7 minutes of Taurus. Taurus is the astrological sign ruling finances and the economy. Besides the usual Mercury related holdups and breakdowns in areas of communication the focus during this retrograde period should be on financial matters. Policies initiated at this time by governmental agencies are unlikely to resolve economic problems. Mistakes by financial institutions are more prevalent so carefully go over all financial statements. When going to the bank the computers might be down. Delays can be expected if refinancing or applying for a mortgage or loan. Try and do this before or after the retrograde. Taurus is also the sign of values and this would be an excellent time to reflect on priorities both materially and spiritually. The next Mercury retrograde begins August 28, 2003 and ends September 20, 2003.<<

Spooky, eh?

I see the period of 5/20 - 6/10 or 6/17 to be the last big rise of the year, with 1600-1700 as the peak. In the next 6-7 weeks, look for the XAU at 64 then 71-72 then 62... and buying it there oughta give ya a double by next winter when gold peaks on its longterm cycle.

A big cap that could run in the next day or two is SAP. I'd like to see it close gaps at 29.75... then divide its peak by 10 for next winter's bottom.

The BTK will go to a peak of 437-475 by July and is unlikely to break 333 to the down side near term. The 50ema oughta be a good gauge of where to buy bios... in 3 weeks, the BTK oughta hit 400 though, around 5/16-5/20.

From mid-Sept till the New Year, the market may prove brutal.
