What do you mean by "security of airports was controlled by Israeli company"?

Do you mean it was owned by a Jewish American or was it actually a company from Israel? If the latter, how can a foreign business be awarded such a contract?

Was there some sort of Jewish holiday on Sept 11th?

I remember hearing at the time that many employees working in the buildings were off that day.
