Thomas, I'm going to put SI to the test. I'm involved in a university class at Oregon State University. It is a discussion about the Iraq war. About four weeks hence, we will be having a West Point graduate leading a two hour session on the legal justifications for the war. I want to humiliate this man. I'm looking for a few good men. Are you game? Are you willing to help me devastate a fascist who is trying to justify naked aggression and call it "defense"? Seems like it ought to be a slam dunk. Obviously, George Bush is one of the most heinous criminals that has ever walked the planet. But we have to prove it. Can you help me prove the case? We need to hone the arguments. Get out the rapier wit, the sword of Damocles and the underlying principles behind the Nuremberg Trials and the 1949 revisions to the Geneva Conventions. We need to document and explicate the current war crimes indictments being developed against Tommy Franks (CENTCOM CINC) in Belgium in anticipation of an ICC tribunal. Are you game? Can we destroy the U.S. military-industrial complex by reason? Or should we just laugh them into oblivion?
