NAZ is up slightly on the year, but still down from this time last year. DOW is down YTD and -16% from a year ago. Maybe the NAZ is about to really out perform the DOW?

Schaeffer on Charts: Nasdaq Composite Does a "Double-Takeout"
By Bernie Schaeffer

The Nasdaq Composite (COMP) has thus far in April taken out resistance at two key long-term moving averages – the 10-month and the 160-month.

On a monthly closing basis, COMP has been mired below its declining 10-month moving average since April 2002. And with the exception of November 2002, COMP has closed below its rising 160-month moving average since July 2002.

Should COMP remain above these key trendlines at month's end, it could mark the beginnings of a new bull run for the tech-dominated index that might ultimately carry as far as the 2000-2200 area – a potential double from its 2002 lows. There is resistance in the 2000 zone at the 80-month moving average, as well as the normal resistance to be expected at a millennium price level and at double a major low.

KT, i sold my AMZN last month or so at 26.50 area. sold 1/2 of my ebay, kept my yahoooooo. small positions in each. AMZN seemed most susceptible. I would rebuy near 20 on amzn, either on a pullback, or after it splits 2:1. ggg larry
