Cheifie doesnt like folks to disagree with him on his thread and I guess Velo feels the same way..<g>

There should be a new thread where ONLY Velo and Cheifie are allowed to post and we can all read just to hear them discuss why they read the same data differently.

I thought the discussion on why Velo doesn't think the ascending triangle seen in the DOW is bullish due to lack of volume and da cheif's comment that he has not observed this in his 30 years was quite interesting.

Maybe someone can check a book on TA and see what it says?

Stockcharts seems to agree with da cheif as it shows in its example contracting volume

and spells out Volume: As the pattern develops, volume usually contracts. When the upside breakout occurs, there should be an expansion of volume to confirm the breakout. While volume confirmation is preferred, it is not always necessary.

It is too bad ego seems to have such a role in being a good guru... as I enjoyed reading their comments to each other.

I have no problem with disagreement. There are plenty of bulls that post here. I stated my reasons.
