"Even the reality of millions shouting against the US" ... is not representative of all Iraqis (millions, what millions?). And unless you have a recent poll to prove otherwise, protesting pilgrims do not represent the majority of Iraqis.

"lack of interest you showed in the poor suffering "

Zonder, I learned a long time ago that I can't change the world. I do my bit where I can, not where you suggest. Thanks,

Zonder- I doubt if you are aware of it, but you lose credibility by being virulently anti-American. Cho was correct by pointing out that you never attacked Saddam.

Being loved is not in the formula-- being safer is. That safety extends to Iraqis and others in the ME. You fail to distinguish the impressive freedoms achieved in a moment after Saddam was disposed. Certainly, there are cultural clashes, and there are minefields.

However, your one-sided attacks on American motives does not add to your credibility. I still do not buy the Bush argument that Iraq was an immediate threat. However, I was impressed by Tony Blair's reply to the demonstrators; "If a million demonstrate, it will be far fewer than those who lost their lives due to Saddam Hussein." I'm still pissed at the UN (read france) for their callous indifference to Saddam's atrocities.

<I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of interest you showed in the poor suffering people of Congo>

What are YOU doing for the poor suffering people of Congo? What is Monaco doing for them? Just wondering....
