" I asked, and you continue to evade.

Not at all... I answered quite clearly...

"I do believe your statement in which I answered in that fashion went something like this.. Delphi has made it clear that the SKY FI has become a bright spot in their product line and profitable for them. "
So, as you can see, why you seem confused as to what "metric" we were discussing Do you mean "cost", "revenue", or "margin"? has me a bit perplexed! You are following along? Aren't you?"

Why you had to ask what "Metric" I was reffering to seems quite suspect.. It was the one that you were talking about! So I guess I will add "Attention Deficit Disorder" to my list of "probable medical conditions" to watch out for.

"This isn't necessarily true. However, at this point, I have seen XMSR's management perform flawlessly, and so I do have a lot of confidence in their projections"

OK, sounds fair.. But, were those CPGA projections "managements projections".. or the guy from ML?

Crystal. Perhaps you ought to follow up on Delphi's financial presentations if you are truly interested.

Oh! I am. As I am sure others are who have not seen this data.. So I am sure you can provide to information as to WHERE Delphi as made this " made it clear (Crystal) that the SKY FI has become a bright spot in their product line and profitable for them. I checked their last 4 Q's and the SkyFi unit is mentioned as more of a line. Thanks you in advance for sharing your source of this data with the board as a whole.

No. But I do have some awareness of what it costs to produce these items in volume. And it isn't much.

OK! So you have no "direct industry experience. But, you do have an awareness.. OK! So what are the ASP's on the silicon?

The technology isn't the problem; DirecTV in a car 10 years from now is certainly doable.

In your last post.. You claimed this was "wild speculation".. Now it "certainly doable".. LOL Can you keep your story straight?

The question is whether there is a market, and the answer is "yes, but EXTREMELY limited".

But, they do offer commercial-free audio entertainment on all of their music channels? Don't they?

If you were on top of this stock you would have more to go on than my posts."

LOL! I believe that has been my point all along. I stated..
"Sorry, I don't consider some guy posting "wild speculation" regarding "new frontier financial models" on a Financial Chat Board as "incontravertible evidence."

I just think you're relying too heavily on some nonexistent connection between other products and XM. In particular, your preconceptions about the cost structure just make your general "subscriber model" totally collapse when applied to XMSR. It is no coincidence that this cost structure is what makes XM so attractive.

Well like you just said.. " If you were on top of this stock you (I) would have more to go on than my(your) posts."

Much more appropriate is a serious gross margin/fixed & variable cost analysis, which will tell you more about the business than anything else.

OK, I'll bite.. What is the gross/fixed margins given you analysis on the financial metrics provided to date? I have already showed you that the "interest only" on the cost of capital for the CPGA is over 50% of ARPU. That doesn't include recapturing you CPGA, or OpEx, Commissions, etc. But you keep telling me that those cost are basically not relevent?? I consider any subscriber business in which >50% of ARPU goes to fund interest on the CPGA as being in trouble.. However, I am sure it has great gross margins!! LOL!

You're a real hoot!
