It's the parents who lack the inspiration. When I was a kid, my mom cooked up tons of stuff for us to do, and now my wife and I pass that on to our kids for long trips. It really cracks me up to see the ads with parents enjoying some of the most splendid scenery the world has to offer -- in peace and quiet because the kids are in the back watching a movie. There must have been something wrong with me as a kid, because I liked looking out the window.
