The recession began well before Bush took office....and if Clinton had paid more attention to his job and less to his johnson many of the messes he left behind for Bush to clean up might have been avoided.

exploited for all it was worth with absolutely no concern
for the consequences.

You know the one that resulted in the Nasdaq losing more
than 60% of it's value while Clinton was still in office as
irrefutably shown in this chart?
