Interesting battle going on after hours. There seems to be a blurb on bloomberg: AVI BioPharma Shares Rise on Mistaken Report on SARS Treatment April 25, 2003 16:09 EDT -- Shares of AVI BioPharma Inc. rose 37 percent on a report in the London-based Times that the first drug to treat severe acute respiratory syndrome will be ready within months, an analyst said. The company said the report is mistaken. quote.bloomberg.com 9 minutes after the close? Maybe something the reporter said in the article was mistaken but I really doubt the whole report is wrong. timesonline.co.uk Monday should be interesting.
