I'm not talking about Intel Capital and their strategic investments. I'm talking about the out and out acquisitions, the companies that Intel bought lock, stock and barrel. Here is an old post of mine that tried to detail them. Message 16133148

They cost ~$11B, and then the groups that they fell into lost many more $B's. I figure it was a minimum ~$17B adventure. Maybe there has been some minor bottom line payback, I don't know. But it almost makes those options look cheap.
