Furthermore, pinched Bollinger Bands on the SOX weekly has always led to new lower lows on the SOX when price has hit the upper BB and reversed or reversed from near it.

Thanks for the plug, aj, but I have not in any way called for testing the October lows on the SOX. I put out a scenario that suggests it is a possibility. For now, I am trading a pattern in a relatively short-term timeframe, and plan to be out of it within just a few points of Friday's low, right about at the 20 day moving average. I certainly don't rule out a bounce there that could at least retest 349.
