Correct. I remember reading that Abbas had some 2% approval. But didn't Blair have 75% of his own people against the war before it started ? Within a week, Powell would have been around. Within a month, Abbas would have had the honors of the WH. Later, it'll be France, UK, Russia: the Pals will say "wow, he really gets around, not like the old warrior that was only good at military victories." It will be very interesting when the "disarming the paramilitary part" will start. Not yet though, as some guy had another noisy working accident in his refugee camp a few hours ago.
