I try not to favor any of them. IMO, anybody who actually wants to be President and is willing to do what is necessary to get elected is by definition unqualified to hold the office. The Greeks had the right idea. Selection by lottery. You might want to set some minimal qualifications for being included in the lottery, though that would be dangerous in its own way. But the only President I want is one who really doesn't want to be President but is chosen for it by lot and reluctantly accepts the responsibility.
