Bill,

You are happy that Iraq's museums and libraries are being sacked and looted? That's astonishing. And, IMVHO, reprehensible. Unlike you, I don't regard the rape of Iraq with the same equanimity with which we might discuss the latest baseball game. To do so is to diminish the significance of what is occurring in the Middle East.

If the goal of the Bushistas was to reduce terrorism and the threat to America, they sure have a strange way of going about it.

My beef with the Bushies, which you steadfastly refuse to confront, is that they are ruining the domestic economy in the U.S., creating hatred across the globe, arrogantly stealing and scheming on natural resources across the planet and jeapordizing the future of everyone on the planet with their bombastic brinksmanship and gruesome gunships.

So you like chaos and seething animosity in Iraq as "an acceptable price of our policy"? As I say, this is morally repugnant to me, and indicative of some sort of a lack of empathy on your behalf. Very disappointing.
