Hi ShilohCat, the link I posted does a pretty good job of integrating the 9/11 timeline from a variety of interview sources. I shows the good and the not-so-good about the events of that morning. The 2 pilots scrambled at 8:40am. I think the timeline says they were airborne no more than 5 or 6 minutes later. The important point is that the military was engaged and acting AS SOON AS THEY WERE NOTIFIED. As the link shows, NORAD and the FAA were working like crazy during the 50 minutes between 8:40am and 9:30am. They had to contact ALL planes in the air (and in the NorthEast at 9am --- jeeez quite a few) and find the ones with transponders off and of course civilian aircraft, FedEx planes .... you get the picture. All in about 30 minutes in order to save the day. What do any of us do in 30 minutes ? Like I said before I've been with people who can't figure out how to split a dinner check in 30 minutes let alone coordinate a comprehensive aircraft hunt and intercept mission across civilian and military jurisdictions. Also -- read what some of these guys are posting. So much of it doesn't add up. Was the plan to fly planes in the WTC AND detonate bombs in them ? lol -- the buildings collapsed from the top. Did the government want to cause maximum effect/death or didn't they ? If they did, why didn't they make sure the WTC towers fell over -- wiping out lots of lower Manhattan ? The people posting here can't seem to make up their mind on that one. What was AA Flt 77's DC target ? The plane tried to hit either the Capitol or the White House but couldn't manuever so it hit the Pentagon instead. If this were a DC-based conspiracy, wouldn't the DC target -- of all places -- have been better thought out ? Did the conspirators want to gain world oil supremacy ? If so, why destroy the airline and travel industry -- which uses a TON of oil. If I wanted oil supremacy, I'd restrict oil supply and stimulate demand. Instead we have lots of oil supply now and NO travelling public !! Just the opposite ! lol Is the Bush administration a bunch of evil geniuses or village idiots ? Lots of conflicting opinions on that here too, lol. They choose them both depending on whether or not it serves their purpose. and so on ..... lol Regards, Chris
