I have had a continuous stream of people in infotech tell me that the job market has shown signs of life in the last two weeks -- people without jobs who are getting the first signs of interest in two years and people who have jobs who are being contacted by recruiters for the first time in two years -- for what it is worth.

There sure is a tremendous amount of optismism built in the mkts here, and precious little pessimism.

I have no opinion on the market in the next couple of weeks -- but I would be concerned about buying puts if the tech sector is showing signs of life - I cannot believe that this has escaped the notice of smart people with some money to put out in front of a recovery.
