Perhaps ALL the Christian Fundamentalists aren't bigots. I was once one myself and didn't agree with their teachings against gays.

However, the teachings of most CF religions tend to be anti-gay so the followers tend in that direction. There are renegades in every group and I was once was myself. I did leave the CF religions and still argue against their anti-gay doctrine.

Frankly, I am prejudice against fundamentalism because I feel it is extreme and dangerous in many ways. Bin Ladin is a Islamic fundamentalist who is a good example of extremism. The Christians have their own version of fundamentalism which generally requires blind followers.
