Oh, I believe what they say is there is there (evidence of some "meeting" between OBL and Saddam Hussein). Steve Jobs "met" with Bill Gates many times in the 80s after all. People are always meeting with other people. This doc doesn't even really prove a meeting though, only that OBL stayed in Baghdad. Personally, I think there is so much deep seeded hatred among the rulers of that region they can't or won't collaborate to the degree the US thinks they do. Just like that movie Lawrence of Arabia, the turks are bombing the region en masse and the arabs are too busy fighting over which tribes can drink from whoever's well to fight back. Its just cultural over there. I think the US should just let the entire region destroy itself, and besides, we are starting to see some actual alternatives to petroleum which could marginalize the ME.
