US involvement in Vietnam began in 1961. The Kennedy assassination happened Nov. 22, 1963. LBJ inherited the Vietnam conflict from JFK. According to a documentary, Kennedy was assassinated by the Mafia. They were angry at the Kennedy administration for what they perceived as a betrayal since they helped get him into office. Brother Robert had launched a full scale attack against Mafia corruption. This did not set well with the Mafia after they had helped deliver the states with close votes (Illinois). Question: Are you a member of the Greens??? Or perhaps the World Socialist Party???

Jack Kennedy was assassinated for defying the military-industrial complex. LBJ caved in to them and the nation became engaged in the senseless slaughter of over 2,000,000 innocent Vietnamese citizens and 58,000 American troops in an act of pure hubris and imperial folly. I'm glad you know who assininated Kennedy, no one else does...as for LBJ, he caved into his daughters... He wouldn't allow bombs to be dropped although thousands of our troops were being killed...It was a dumb war that Kennedy got us into, and Nixon finally had to get us out..
