Oh please. Don't be so modest. It was an ad hominem- although I do understand why you'd like to back away from it now. You were impugning my intellectual reasons for agreeing with someone, and doing it globally- those last sentences on your posts are often a "bad" idea. I am not one who judges without personal knowledge, and you do not appear to be willing to take on the actual issue, which was Fox TV. They ARE pretty awful, so I understand why you don't want to take on the issue- but give it a try. My judging with or without personal knowledge was not the issue (although I would argue that reading about FOX is far superior to actually watching it), the issue was fox. YOU made it personal. Something I would think your experience on SI would teach you is a bad idea. But perhaps personal experience isn't all it is cracked up to be? There, I can do it too.
