CO2 is 'parked' as limestone and methane under the tundra and the sea bed. Perhaps over the millions of years there have been a fluctuation between the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and 'parked' elsewhere.

I would not try to stop CO2 emission. The most effective way is to increase the 'drain', i.e., by planing more trees.

But planting trees is things that one do in the tropics (Africa, Asia or LATAM. Not in the North, not because of land or variery. But because trees there grow only about 3 moths and C)2 is sokaed only in the poresence of sunlight and whne trees are growing.

Northern countries, because they could not be part of this solution above, are not interested and try to find some outlandish things like fuel cells.

We are doing our bit in Brazil: 75% of all new aras are 1.000cc engines. Soeone have to develop a SUV powered by a 1.000cc engine for the US drivers cruise.
