I base my truths on experience! Not some intellectual pride that guides me into the latest new age religion because it has no moral backbone that accepts both sides of the coin.

Santiago , you are a simple man and so no one can blame you for only having sticks and stones to fight with . I am not trying to convert you here , just allow you to see the great scope and vast stretch of all man's myriad experiences here on earth . Not the one just based on the sons of Abraham nonsense that is pitiful and corrupt just from the myopic and misinformed nonsense of their own creation story , which anyone of us could make up today a better one , and some poets and playwrights already have.
As for the accuracy of "God's Word" , they were only off by some 14billion years .<G>

The Hindus knew the countless ages of the earth 1000's of years before the Hebrews in any case .

Aside from the many miracles that Jesus was said to perform , which seem to any reasonable scholar to be written in the scriptures willy-nilly or borrowed and all have the flavor of calculated unknown scribes at the behest of popes doing so for the sake of promulgating the cause of the Faith . One doesn't base the truth of religion on fantasy stories and miracles passed on as truth by women gossiping about some magician they heard their men speak of and later pushed by Emperors, popes & priests to keep the myth going . In this already miraculous Universe & world , no miracles are needed to a mind that is open ...

Who was that Pope who was recorded as saying to one in his court

" That this story of Jesus is one of the best inventions to our benefit to ever come along ?"

Well we see where that early faith arose from..let the wives-tales and fantasy stories continue by all means . And keep it cloaked in mystery and shrouded in Latin.<G>

Yes , sounds like "Truth" to me .<G>

I posted a link to that wonderful Practical Christian Unity Church to you , that began as a sincere movement and spawning new churches of quiet reflection and worship and silent healing from here to Europe , and yet you veer right off the course and get derailed as quickly onto the "New Age" rant . I would have thought you would have liked to make a comment on the Unity movement of Myrtle Fillmore , but i see that you are sterile of relevant comments as usual. As a great instructor and teacher I had once from Germany used to say to me :

"see how you are ? "

For one thing Santiago , if you don't like the " New Age" philosophies and religions , then you ust first understand that Jesus himself ----->was a New Age Preacher mainly known for his espousing the cause of the poor, the dispossesed and the sick who were denied the inalienable right to liberty freedom and justice by the Holy Rolling rigid so-called "religious" (pharisees?) systems of his day .

The seeds of that kind of recognition of the "Peaks of Glory" in life , and the great blinding "Justices" behind the fabric of Creation as hinted at so poorly in your scriptures that you are left mostly with a handful of wild prophets complete with unbelievable children's fantasy stories of miracles woven into the tale that would be even more believable if only those obvious wives-tales had never been included from the beginning. But you cling to them which is why you can't go on without embracing those depths of hell, and only still dimmly even begin to grasp the truest glories of life that abound . Christianity only takes form and shape after many persecutions and this "Paul" fellow who has no apparent knowledge of those "many" miracles of Jesus.

How can one see or even imagine the mountain peaks of glory until they have experienced the depths of hell?
Experience, Mars

I lived in Yosemite National Park for over two years Santiago when I was younger man and hung off the side of Half Dome , studied astrononmy and looked at the heavens thru many telscopes....I have walked in the deserts of the southwest and the mountains of the Colorados...stood on the cliffs facing the great Pacific and swam with the leviathans on their migratory course to the Mexicos, and have seen glories there in the Islands as I walked the newest lands on earth as they are being formed today from the Volcanoes . And met sainted men who lived lives entirely of the most deepest contemplations who's lifes work culminated by touching the lives of millions , and they did much good you have no awareness of .

The one experience I have of life is to know that you or your scripture testimony is as fragile as the sands , and the word of God belonged to no single man on earth , not even your gallant dramatic New Age preacher to the poor , Jesus . He was just a man , Santiago . Just a young wild and passionate fellow , rebelling against the wuthorities of his day . You make him into a God if you like and worship him .
And why not? The Greeks had Prometheus and Hercules....

Do unto others as you would do unto them unto you . Great words , but not spoken first by Jesus . We do know that they were spoken by Buddha , 500 yrs before . And that is
not New Age, thank you.

regards

Mars

PS I have seen scientists that are engaged in mapping out the galaxies in the closest sectors to our own milky way , and each of them are persons of the greatest faith in Life undertaking a task that will take countless decades even with computers ...but are not Christians. You yourselves here cannot even define what is Christian , in any case .<G>

And you would call them "Godless"....a little narrow to believe that .
