That whole French thing is gaining steam and getting more and more ridiculous. I think {but am not sure} that it was Rice who said "..we will punish the French, be neutral to the Germans and reward the Russians..."; as if the Europeans who wrote the book on colonialism were to be intimidated by the old 'divide and conquer' strategy. It is all so funny, I just want to cry. It is my bedtime. Good night.

<Sheesh. Be careful.> Thanks for the warning, unfortunately it is a bit too late. I have been buying, suspiciously large quantities of Perrier and putting them on my debit card. I am afraid they have my number. <Excellent, we'll definitely have to compare notes. I'm on page 7. :) . I am not far ahead of you (pg.40). I am a bit disappointed with the treatment of his childhood. It is a bit too short and seems incomplete. I am not getting a clear picture of the man.
