Right, but I think the core issues are jobs and capital spending -- and these two are linked. If capital spending is coming back, and if that is connected to an improvement in tech-related jobs, I am not sure I would be shorting tech stocks at this point. I have real concerns about the economy and am by no means confident that we have seen the worst, but if it was my money I would consider the risk of fighting what may appear, even if only temporarily, to be the first signs of life in several years.
