x, i would recommend investing in stocks with a halfways sound earnings history and a decent valuation, and if not stocks, then some of the exchange traded baskets. As much I prefer gambling rat-dogs, those are mostly unsuitable for the ordinary (or beginner) investor. That said it took me three years to figure it out and I'm still learning. As such I find that the reco from the other poster is exactly what's my post about - its a lottery ticket. (no pun intended...) Also, we are approaching May, so there goes the old saying "Sell in May and go away..." perhaps with the coming summer lull even better opportunities arise in September, October.
