Continued attacks on the highly successful Bush foreign policy (consisting of two pincers: Winning the war on terror, and showing sterile Europe-in the post Clinton world-who's REALLY the boss), as well as the passionate and fanatical fight for higher taxes in the teeth of a weak economy are, today, DOOMING the Democratic party to political oblivion, in a debacle in 2004. But that party has survived for 200+ years. The ENTIRE source of their problem is their 30+year sellout to the Marxist/Leninist anti-American whacko-left. I would not be at all surprised to see, as Democrats from outside the "Peoples' Republic" states see enough of this HUGE writing on the wall, the begining the long-needed reform of the party BEFORE the 2004 campaign. The dumping of the Marxist/Leninist left will lose them a lot of offices next year-but they will finally realize that it's better than going completely out of business-and THEN having to make the SAME reforms, at much higher risk...
