Memory problem....does anyone know of a utility I can use to test the memory in my machine? I was downloading some data today for Metastock Pro and it was going way too slow. Then I got an error message that said it couldn't address memory at a particular memory address, so the program aborted. XP and Memturbo are both recognizing 256megs, which is correct, but I don't know if either does a memory test. I've never had this problem before, but coincidentally I had to remove the memory stick from my machine yesterday and I noticed the whole machine was VERY dirty, including the edges of the DIMM slot. I hope I didn't foul the slot up when I reseated the stick.
