OUTRAGEOUS, ILLOGICAL AND DECEPTIVE

Chris,

That's how I characterize your posts on this thread. Liar is only part of the deceit you are engaging in.

Re: This plot was in the works way before Bush arrived on the scene.

That is a fact. But what you utterly fail to mention or come to grips with is that FBI field officers knew about this, requested FISA warrants to investigate this in the summer of 2001 and were denied the right to continue their investigations by supervisory personnel within the FBI. That ought to be enough to force a truly indenpendent "blue ribbon" panel or grand jury to be empowered with full subpeona powers to investigate malfeasance and criminal activity within the FBI.

This is not what happened. The perps, including David Frasca, were not investigated, fired or imprisoned for telling their field officers to stand down in the spring and summer of 2001. No. Frasca was rewarded with a raise and a promotion for a job well done. This demands investigation! Why are we rewarding a U.S. government employee who enabled the 9/11 plot to proceed?

Cui custodes ipso custodes?

<<<Please don't call me a liar, Don.>>>

Your claim the hijackers entered the country prior to Bush taking office is garbage, and pointing out that Atta had been here before is not a defense of the claim. If you find being called a liar objectionable, I would suggest you stick to less obvious falsehoods.
