Air Canada Welcomes Who Decision, Launches Special Discounted Fares to Toronto

MONTREAL, April 29 /PRNewswire/ - Air Canada welcomed today's decision by the World Health Organization to lift its travel advisory for Toronto and stepped up its participation in the "Canada Loves Toronto" long weekend. The airline announced today details of special fares designed to encourage travel to Toronto over the Victoria Day holiday weekend, May 15-20.
"With the announcement today of the lifting of the WHO travel advisory, there is no better time to showcase Toronto as a vibrant, cosmopolitan and safe place to visit," said Robert Milton, President and CEO, Air Canada. "This decision bolsters efforts not only by Air Canada but by all partners in the "Canada Loves Toronto" campaign to demonstrate our full confidence in the city and its people."

Air Canada's special discounted fares to Toronto are available for purchase April 30 until May 14 from all 80 cities in the continental United States served by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and on a codeshare basis with Star Alliance partner, United Airlines.
