there is little reason right now to be overly optimistic: Singapore is a isolated case more than likely given how tough they can be, and China, is a huge country with a very mobile population and ties throughtout the world.

OT** My girlfriend left for Toronto today, she said there was almost nobody on the plane. Vancouver-Toronto flights are usually jammed. Hype or not, the economy in that city is getting hit in a major way.
