I always let fundamentals taint my trading. I never abandon any sense. I know the dangers(mixing fundies/tech) as represented by recent decision not to buy into the last leg of the rally @ 1380.( conscientiously ignoring chart technicals) My real sentiment changed before that with lower economic leading indicators. Greenies softpatch began looking more ominous regardless of easy money....that's the scary part. Greenspan tap has been turned on for a very long time now and GDP is still only about 1.5% with what 8% government spending. I can never get away from my economics 101 education. What really scares me is the harm rising interest rates will do. I have been waffling on taking on more debt or going debtless again....swinging back toward latter. I had wanted to start some new projects but really don't like the idea of taking on debt. It's the same in selling SEPR @ 17.....after patiently waiting for recovery...well it broke 19 I think the next day.....I saw the momentum in the bios but was happy to unload after riding to bottom. Timing isn't easy when everyone has all the same tools and methods and perceptions....if you get w/i 10% of a major top or bottom your doing pretty good. Feb/Apr haven't been good months for me.(MSFT) I'm really hoping ebay swings rapidly my direction. I have taken some large setbacks lately. I have some new plans that require things go a little better. So maybe a refocus will deliver on the need. Nothing a little godsend can't propel into reality. Hi Ron, I'm already painting(stains) fancy stuff into concrete, yes I want to try paint on wet plaster. Maybe next year....or whenever I get a house started? in-god-we-trust.com
