Raymond, while some of our members are active on issues oriented forums, we've agreed to respect this thread as a safe haven, where folks of any political, religious, or investing persuasion can discuss their common interest in photography. If you have an interest in joining our conversations about f-stops and aesthetics, you can apply for re-instatement via email.

Best regards,
uf

Politics and photography...

In both fields, one must select their targets with care, plan their approach, and execute their endeavours with skill.

Attempting to initiate a political debate on this thread seems like a totally misdirected effort. People come here to discuss F-stops and aesthetics. It's the purpose of this thread.

However, if someone submits their efforts with photo manipulation, and their work cannot convey the intended message without additional comments, then it may be appropriate to supplement their image with a few words.

Unfortunately, the words so overwhelmingly overpowered the image that the submission was misinterpreted as a strong political message instead of a weak visual statement. Perhaps this explains why the subsequent posts contain political opinion and no assistance in photo manipulation.
