OK I agree..

His work of salvation is finished but
if He actually took a day off
the universe would collapse and cease to be.

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
as certain also of your own poets have said,
For we are also his offspring.

God...loves a seeker. Only by His grace will you see Him. I said that</g>

Only if the seeking is at the highest intensity can this happen.

Unfortunately, almost all people are interesting in being preachers and not real seekers. People are too interesting in saving others before they even see God themselves.
Why? Probably because everyone wants to feel important and good...the negative consequence of this is that people start feeling holier than others...and therefore the result is a strong ego. Even in being good, they can look down at the average person, who by the way is a person made by the same Creator.
I think the catch is that only in total humility can one find God; in total humility can one experience that Grace.

That seems to be the puzzle.
(sort of a "catch22")

"God...loves a seeker. Only by His grace will you see Him.

Rather, only by His grace will you seek him. God said that.

Rom 3:9 What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. 10As it is written:
"There is no one righteous, not even one;
11there is no one who understands,
no one who seeks God.
12All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one."
13"Their throats are open graves;
their tongues practice deceit."
"The poison of vipers is on their lips."
14"Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness."
15"Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16ruin and misery mark their ways,
17and the way of peace they do not know."
18"There is no fear of God before their eyes."
19Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin
