The current decade is shaping up like the 1950's all over again. This nonsense should last a few more years and eventually there will be a social revolt and a push for new freedoms again. It's a pity that we haven't internalized more revulsion against attacks on our fundamental freedoms. But democracy requires vigilance, it always has. They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin
