RE: "I feel for the Palestinian people who suffer under one of the last known occupations on this planet."

The Palestinian people have suffered. Your feelings are somewhat valid. Your definitions are not. The West Bank and Gaza are disputed, not occupied. Israel took them from Egypt and Jordan after the 1967 war. Egypt and Jordan took them after the 1948 war. There are historical reasons to support both Jews and Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. The Palestinians have suffered because they have been used as pawns in the Arab attempt to destroy Israel. The "extremists" you refer to are most of the Arabs, most of the Palestinians, and all of the Arab and Palestininan clergy and leadership. So you "feel for" the "extremists" you "do not support."
