Sun,
I dont doubt the information you have provided. By I got a good laugh at the authors use of John Wayne as an example. He was a three pack a day smoker if i remember correctly. Mike

15,000 died of cancer' after US atom tests

The cancer figures were estimated.

The Institute for Energy and Environmental Research analysed the report

Is that a joke? Did you look up the org to see what it is?

John Wayne, who died of cancer, made a film about Genghis Khan in 1955. Shooting was about 100 miles downwind

Completely irrelevant imo.
John Wayne died in 1979, 24 years after that report. Wayne smoked Camels, did cigarette ads and still lived to 72.
If he died of radiation it was from getting too much sun in the desert.
