When the general population made it into the museum in baghdad most of the good stuff was gone. Vaults, opened with keys, were empty. Replicas were left behind.

I did not say "museums only have copies on display." There is usually a rotation or a random allotment of fake and real.

Ask your curator friend over drinks outside of the museum if everything "original" on display is actually so. "Self-respecting curator" lol, you must not know any.
