Let's put this global warming thing in perspective...

The earth is 4,500 million years old.

There are 7 major periods of glaciation recorded in Earth's history.

Assign a duration of 5 million years to each one.

This means that Earth has been as cold as it is now for less than 1% of its history.

The question is not, "Why is Earth warming?"

The real question is, "Why is Earth as cold as it is now?" Herein lies the answer to why Earth is warming.
