Let's put this global warming thing in perspective... The earth is 4,500 million years old. There are 7 major periods of glaciation recorded in Earth's history. Assign a duration of 5 million years to each one. This means that Earth has been as cold as it is now for less than 1% of its history. The question is not, "Why is Earth warming?"
