Add to that, no great love lost between Persians and Arabs so you would assume that most would have at least an equal distrust of iranian motives as ours. Time to teach them how to catch fish. Most important thing is to keep iraq intact. The breakup of iraq gives both the iranians, and the Turks opportunity to be mischevious. In that scenario it would be far harder for the US to maintain the course. And as to your people power revolution for iran, nothing would speed that process up more, than a functioning pluralistic federated iraq. Mike
