Zonder- Who could Israel make peace with? Barak really gave it a terrific try with Arafat, and was not even considered. Altho I deplore Sharon's policies, as well as his unprovoked invasion of Lebanon, after Arafat rejected Barak and suicide bombers began with the clear encouragement of Arafat, who could Israel negotiate with?

I am encouraged that the Palestinians have a new prime minister. Perhaps we can get some progress.
