Ah yes, from what I understand the Canadian medical system pays for treatment in the U.S. when it can't handle it domestically, and some who can afford it and want to receive immediate care without having to wait, pay for the service in the U.S. Many U.S. kids, from wealthy families, often recieve treatment at a world renowned cancer center, St. Margarets Cancer Center and a kids hospital, Sick Childrens, in Toronto, Canada. I'm not saying the Canadian system is appropriate for the U.S., just that, well, if you get sick too often in america the private insurers usually dump you as a customer and then the house gets mortgaged or sold.
