Egyptian sailor dies in Brazil from anthrax

Ibrahim had been given the suitcase in Cairo by an unidentified person and was due to deliver it to somebody in Canada.

For those that maintained that attacking Iraq would reduce, not increase, the safety of the US, this is sad confirmation. Either this is the work of Al-Quida or not. If it is, then contrary to what we've been led to believe, Bin Ludite's organization is still functioning on an international scale. If this threat is from a different group, then we are seeing the fruits of the call for jihad against the US that was mounted subsequent to the beginning of the Iraqi invasion. Either way, this is bad news, and calls into question the theory that the post 9-11 anthrax attacks were domestic in origin.

I want to thank you for posting this earlier. If you get any further info, please let us know. I'm particularly interested in learning if the anthrax was "weaponized" (ie very fine powder), and what the DNA "signature" is. Any help would be appreciated.
