Yea. I won't have any idea who I'm going to bet until I see some odds. I agree on Empire Maker. Maybe he's the logical favorite (and I say maybe), but he won't be worth the very short price we are likely to see on him. I occasionally make a show bet on a legitimate favorite in the Derby because you can some crazy payoffs in the show pool in that race. There is simply a ton of amateur money in those pools. You might see something like 5.40, 4.60, 4.00. I've taken advantage of that a couple of times. In this case I don't think he has much of an advantage over a bunch of horses. So a show bet is probably out of the question.
