Thanks, time frame is long term, and yes, I have thought about putting all my eggs in a much smaller basket of just a few stocks...my problem is, in this market, ANY stock can get whacked, and I dont want to risk 1 or 2 bad apples, ruining things. Not so sdure I should go with the 70 or so stocks I picked...maybe pare them down some to about 30 or 40 stocks...but am hesitant to just go with 3 - 5 stocks...as you said gains may be greater, but so is risk...
