This inventory build is very real,..... but it is insanity. They can build to their hearts' content, but the end markets are saturated and there are few buyers.

Of course, it does give then the opportunity to pull off the classic "inventory writedown" scam (write it off to zero, then sell it later at $0.25 on the dollar, with all of the proceeds showing up as pure profit).
