According to DocBear's blog, India isn't making regular reports to WHO. China all over again, isn't it? I suspect a version of the China syndrome stayed the CDC's hands, as well. Nobody wants WHO to issue a travel advisory against your home town.

Only two new "probable cases" reported to the CDC from 4/27/03 t0 4/28/03 -- which is good -- but is it due to good quarantines or is it due to the flu season being over?
cdc.gov

Is there a "flu season" in warm places? Or is that something that happens only in cold weather? I have no idea.

My rheumatoid arthritis gets so awful when it's very cold that I am thinking of spending the entire month of January in the tropics. Considering what I spend on medication, I'd probably break even.

Missing the flu season would be a bonus.
